FEATHER — PROPRIETARY FREE-USE TERMS Terms version 1 • Approved 6 November 2026 Applies to Feather Sheets 1.0, build 1100 1. Owner and scope Copyright (c) 2026 Abdulrahman Ali. All rights reserved except as expressly granted below or under the separate licenses of third-party components. These terms cover the official compiled Feather application distributed with them. Feather is proprietary. Its source code is private and is not licensed or supplied under these terms. 2. Free use Abdulrahman Ali grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to install and use this version of Feather for personal, educational and commercial purposes, including use at work. You may use it on any compatible Mac you own or are authorized to use. There is no license fee, subscription, device-count limit or time limit for this version while you comply with these terms. An organization may deploy the unmodified application internally to its authorized staff and contractors for its own work, keeping these terms and all third-party notices with each copy. You may make backup copies. 3. Your files and output You retain your rights in your workbooks, data and output. These terms do not require you to share them, publish them, attribute Feather in them, or license them to the owner. Using Feather for paid work does not create a royalty. 4. Distribution and other restrictions You may share a link to the official Feather download page. Apart from the internal deployment and backup permissions above, you need the owner's written permission to publicly mirror or redistribute the complete Feather application, resell or sublicense it, bundle it into another product, modify or rebrand it, or distribute modified versions. Do not remove its ownership or license notices or imply that the owner endorses your product or service. No rights to Feather's name or logo are granted beyond identifying the unmodified application. Do not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the proprietary portions except where applicable law permits this despite the restriction. These restrictions do not limit rights granted by applicable law or by any third-party component's separate license. 5. Third-party components Feather includes separately licensed components, including IronCalc, Rust dependencies and Carlito fonts. Their copyright notices and licenses remain in force. See THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt, Third-Party-Licenses/ and the app's Contents/Resources/ThirdPartyLicenses/ and Contents/Resources/Fonts/ folders. Those licenses govern the respective components and prevail over a conflicting restriction in these Feather terms. No claim of exclusive ownership of those components, or restriction of their independent license rights, is made. 6. Support, compatibility and future versions This license does not promise support, updates or a particular future feature. Different terms may be offered for future versions; they do not retroactively remove the permissions granted for this version. Review the included system requirements and compatibility limits. Keep independent backups and check important calculations and exchanged workbooks for your intended use. 7. Warranty and liability To the extent permitted by applicable law, Feather is supplied "as is" and "as available", without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the owner is not liable for indirect, special, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of data, profit or business, arising from use of the application. Nothing in these terms excludes a mandatory legal right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. 8. Ending use You may stop using Feather at any time. If you materially breach these terms, the owner may terminate this license by written notice after giving a reasonable opportunity to remedy the breach. On termination, stop using the proprietary application and delete its copies. Your workbooks and other output remain yours; separate third-party rights and mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
